Terms of participation

Effective Date: August 28, 2026
Document Version: 1.0

Section 1. Preamble, Terms and Legal Status of Organizers

1.1. General Provisions

This document (hereinafter referred to as the "Terms of Participation", "Regulations") establishes mandatory rules for conducting an amateur esports tournament in the discipline of VALORANT on the ValQayum platform (hereinafter referred to as the "Tournament", "Competition").

By registering for the Tournament, submitting an application for participation, paying the organizational fee or performing other conclusive actions, the participant unconditionally accepts these Terms of Participation in full and undertakes to comply with them.

1.2. Tournament Organizers

The Tournament Organizers (hereinafter referred to as the "Organizers", "We") are:

  • Ken

  • AVS

The Organizers act as private individuals within the framework of the provisions of the Civil Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan (hereinafter referred to as the "CC RK") on the right to conduct public entertainment events. The Tournament is not a business activity, is not organized for profit, and is conducted on a voluntary basis in accordance with the publisher's Community Competition Guidelines.

1.3. Terms and Definitions

Participant — an individual who has reached the age of 14, registered to participate in the Tournament through the official ValQayum platform and accepted these Terms of Participation.

Team — a group of 5 players automatically formed by the system to participate in Tournament matches.

Organizational Fee (Org Fee) — a monetary sum paid by the participant to the organizers to cover operational expenses (server infrastructure, moderation, administration, platform operation).

Prize Pool — the aggregate of monetary funds distributed among the Tournament's prize winners in accordance with their final placement.

Riot Games — Riot Games, Inc. (USA), the publisher and rights holder of the game VALORANT.

Riot ID — a unique identifier of the participant's gaming account in the Riot Games system (format: Nickname#TAG).

Smurfing — the use of an additional (alternative) gaming account with the purpose of distorting data about the participant's actual gaming level, manipulating the team balancing system, or gaining an unfair advantage.

Anti-cheat — a system to combat unfair play, including Riot Vanguard and organizational measures by the Organizers.

POV Stream — a live broadcast of gameplay from the participant's first-person perspective on streaming platforms (Twitch, YouTube, etc.).

Force Majeure — extraordinary and unavoidable under the given circumstances that prevent the parties from fulfilling their obligations (in accordance with Article 359 of the CC RK).

Section 2. Riot Games Licensing and Compliance with Community Competition Guidelines

2.1. Legal Status of the Tournament

The Tournament is conducted in strict accordance with:

  • Riot Games Community Competition Guidelines (current version at the time of the Tournament);

  • Riot Games Community Pact;

  • VALORANT Community Code of Conduct.

The Organizers have submitted a notification of the Tournament to Riot Games through the official form provided for in the Community Competition Guidelines. A response from the publisher is not required to run an amateur tournament, and no separate Riot Games permission is issued under this procedure.

Riot Games does not sponsor, endorse or organize the Tournament. The Tournament is not an official Riot Games competition and is run by the community within the permissions the Community Competition Guidelines grant to amateur tournaments.

2.2. Non-Commercial Nature of the Tournament

The Tournament is a non-commercial amateur competition. The Organizers do not profit from conducting the Tournament.

The non-commercial nature follows from how the Tournament is structured: the announced prize pool exceeds the largest sum the entry fees could raise at full capacity. The Organizers cover the difference out of their own pocket, so running the Tournament is loss-making by design and cannot be treated as activity aimed at generating income.

All financial receipts are used exclusively for:

  • covering expenses for server infrastructure, hosting, and technical maintenance of the platform;

  • forming the prize pool for participants;

  • paying for moderation and administration services;

  • compensating other direct operational expenses related to conducting the Tournament.

2.3. Limitation of Rights to Use Intellectual Property

All rights to trademarks, logos, graphic materials, game assets, audio and video materials of the game VALORANT belong to Riot Games, Inc. and its affiliates.

The Organizers use the specified intellectual property objects exclusively within the permissions provided by Riot Games Community Competition Guidelines and do not claim any rights to Riot Games' intellectual property.

Upon termination of Riot Games' permission or changes to the Community Competition Guidelines, the Organizers undertake to immediately cease using the affected intellectual property objects and, if necessary, suspend or cancel the Tournament.

Section 3. Participant Qualification

3.1. General Requirements for Participants

To participate in the Tournament, the following conditions must be met simultaneously:

a) Age: the participant must have reached the age of 14 at the time of Tournament registration. Participation of persons aged 14 to 18 is carried out subject to obtaining parental (legal guardian) consent in accordance with Section 4 of these Terms of Participation.

b) Riot ID: the participant must provide a valid Riot ID of their main gaming account upon registration (format: Nickname#TAG). Use of other people's or fictitious accounts is prohibited.

c) Open profile on tracker.gg: the participant must set the privacy settings of their VALORANT gaming account so that their statistics are available for public viewing on tracker.gg or similar statistics services. Hidden profiles are not allowed to participate.

d) Absence of active bans: at the time of registration and throughout the Tournament, the participant's account must not have any active bans of any kind imposed by the Riot Games system or Vanguard anti-cheat system, including but not limited to: bans for cheating, toxic behavior, account ban (hardware ban), temporary and permanent access restrictions.

e) Territorial accessibility: the participant must have the technical ability to connect to VALORANT servers in the Tournament region with acceptable latency (ping).

3.2. Participant Qualification Verification

The Organizers reserve the right to:

  • request confirmation of compliance with qualification requirements from the participant at any time (screenshots, video recordings, access to tracker.gg profile);

  • verify the public tracker.gg profile supplied by the participant;

  • reject registration or disqualify a participant upon detection of violations of qualification requirements.

If a participant is found not to meet the established requirements, the Organizers may refuse admission to the Tournament or disqualify the participant without refunding the organizational fee (except in cases specified in Section 7).

3.3. Single Account

Each participant has the right to register for Tournament participation with only one main gaming account. Registration using multiple accounts (smurfing) is strictly prohibited and results in disqualification in accordance with Section 12 of these Terms of Participation.

The main account is understood to be the account on which the participant plays regularly and which most accurately reflects their actual level of play.

Section 4. Regulations for Participation of Persons Under 18 Years of Age

4.1. Legal Basis

Participation of minors (participants aged 14 to 18) in the Tournament is governed by:

  • the Civil Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Articles 21–26);

  • the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On the Rights of the Child in the Republic of Kazakhstan" dated August 8, 2002 No. 345-II;

  • the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Personal Data and Their Protection" dated May 21, 2013 No. 94-V (requirements for consent of legal representatives).

4.2. Mandatory Parental (Legal Guardian) Consent

To participate in the Tournament, a person aged 14 to 18 must obtain written consent from one of their parents or legal guardian (guardian, trustee).

The consent must contain:

  • full details of the parent (legal guardian): full name, date of birth, identity document details;

  • confirmation of familiarization with these Terms of Participation, Privacy Policy, and Cookie Policy;

  • consent for the minor to participate in the Tournament;

  • consent for processing the minor's personal data for the purposes of conducting the Tournament;

  • consent for payment of the organizational fee (if applicable) and understanding of the procedure for forming and distributing the prize pool;

  • signature of the parent (legal guardian) and date of signing.

4.3. Form of Providing Consent

Consent is provided in one of the following forms:

  • scanned copy of a signed document (PDF, JPG, PNG format) sent to the Organizers' official email address — valqayum6@gmail.com;

  • photograph of a signed document of legible quality sent through official communication channels (Discord, Telegram);

  • other form agreed with the Organizers on an individual basis.

The Organizers reserve the right to request a notarized copy of consent in case of doubts about the authenticity of the provided document.

4.4. Deadline for Providing Consent

Parental (legal guardian) consent must be received by the Organizers no later than 24 hours before the Tournament start. Participants who do not provide consent by the established deadline are not allowed to participate in the Tournament.

4.5. Liability for Providing False Information

Providing knowingly false information about age, forging parental (legal guardian) consent, or other forms of misleading the Organizers result in immediate disqualification of the participant without refunding the organizational fee and possible prosecution in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Section 5. Registration, Moderation, Automatic Roster Formation Procedure, Categorical Ban on Smurfing

5.1. Registration Procedure

Registration for the Tournament is carried out exclusively through the official ValQayum project platform at the address specified by the Organizers in official communication channels.

The registration process includes:

  • completing a registration form indicating Discord ID / Telegram ID;

  • providing a valid Riot ID of the main gaming account;

  • confirming open profile status on tracker.gg;

  • accepting these Terms of Participation, Privacy Policy, and Cookie Policy;

  • paying the organizational fee in the established amount (if applicable).

Registration is considered complete after the Organizers receive confirmation of organizational fee payment and participant qualification verification.

5.2. Application Moderation

All submitted applications for participation undergo mandatory moderation by the Organizers. During moderation, the following are verified:

  • participant's compliance with qualification requirements (Section 3);

  • absence of violations in participation history in previous tournaments (if applicable);

  • accuracy of provided data;

  • absence of signs of smurf account use;

  • compliance with rules of conduct in official Tournament communication channels.

The Organizers may reject a participant's application without explanation. If an application is rejected before team (roster) formation, the organizational fee is refunded to the participant in full in accordance with Section 7.

5.3. Automatic Team Formation (Rosters)

The Tournament uses an automatic team balancing system based on objective gaming indicators of participants (rank, average damage per round, win percentage, other public statistics).

Balancing Algorithm:

  • the system uses the rank declared by the participant at registration and confirmed by a moderator against the open tracker.gg profile;

  • based on collected data, each participant is assigned a conditional balance coefficient;

  • participants are distributed into teams in such a way as to minimize the difference in total team strength;

  • team formation is carried out automatically after registration closes and is published in official communication channels no later than 24 hours before the Tournament start.

The participant cannot:

  • choose the composition of their team;

  • demand transfer to another team;

  • refuse to play with assigned teammates for reasons not related to violations of these Terms of Participation or legislation.

Formed team compositions are final and not subject to change, except in cases of participant disqualification, technical system errors, or force majeure circumstances.

5.4. Categorical Ban on Smurfing

Smurfing is strictly prohibited.

Smurfing includes:

  • registering for the Tournament using an additional (non-main) account;

  • deliberately concealing actual playing level for the purpose of gaining advantage in team balancing;

  • using a "purchased" or "rented" account;

  • transferring account access to third parties for participation in the Tournament on behalf of another person;

  • any other forms of manipulation of identification data or gaming statistics.

Sanctions for Smurfing:

  • immediate disqualification of the participant without refunding the organizational fee;

  • forfeiture of the right to receive prize money (if the participant's team took a prize place);

  • ban from participating in all future ValQayum project tournaments for an indefinite period;

  • public disclosure of the smurfing fact in official Tournament channels (without disclosing personal data protected by personal data protection legislation).

5.5. Smurfing Detection Procedure

The Organizers apply the following methods for detecting smurfing:

  • comparison of the declared rank against the open tracker.gg profile;

  • comparison of stated playing level with actual Tournament match results;

  • checking account connection with other accounts of the same player (common IP addresses, device matches, cross-referenced data);

  • receiving information from other Tournament participants;

  • monitoring participant streams and POV broadcasts.

Upon suspicion of smurfing, the Organizers may request from the participant:

  • video recording of gameplay with camera;

  • demonstration of gaming skills in live broadcast;

  • provision of additional evidence of account authenticity.

Participant's refusal to provide requested materials within 24 hours is considered indirect admission of smurfing and grounds for disqualification.

Section 6. Organizational Fee, Prize Pool and Tax Obligations

6.1. Organizational Fee

To participate in the Tournament, each participant must pay an organizational fee (hereinafter "Org Fee") in the amount established by the Organizers and published on the official ValQayum platform before registration for a specific Tournament begins.

Purpose of Org Fee: The Org Fee is a targeted payment intended to cover the following expenses:

  • rental and maintenance of server infrastructure, platform hosting, databases;

  • payment for software licenses necessary for conducting the Tournament;

  • moderation, administration, and technical support services;

  • expenses for integration with external services (tracker.gg, payment systems);

  • other direct operational expenses related to organizing and conducting the Tournament.

The Org Fee is not:

  • an entry fee to a commercial organization;

  • payment for ownership rights to any digital or material assets;

  • a donation or charitable contribution.

6.2. Org Fee Payment Procedure

The Org Fee is paid by the participant by advance payment before the Tournament start through payment methods specified on the official ValQayum platform.

Acceptable payment methods are determined by the Organizers and may include:

  • bank transfers;

  • payment systems (Kaspi, CloudPayments, others);

  • electronic wallets;

  • other payment methods agreed with the Organizers.

The participant must save payment confirmation (receipt, invoice) and provide it to the Organizers upon first request.

6.3. Prize Pool

Prize Pool Formation: The Tournament's prize pool is formed from funds remaining after covering operational expenses specified in clause 6.1. The prize pool size and distribution procedure are published by the Organizers in official communication channels before the Tournament starts.

Prize Pool Distribution: The prize pool is distributed among prize-winning teams according to places taken at the Tournament's conclusion. Typical distribution scheme:

  • 1st place: 50% of prize pool;

  • 2nd place: 30% of prize pool;

  • 3rd place: 20% of prize pool.

The specific distribution scheme for each Tournament is established by the Organizers before registration begins and is not subject to change.

Prize money is divided equally among all members of the prize-winning team (by default — among 5 players of the main roster).

Prize Payment Procedure:

  • Prize payment is made within 30 calendar days from the Tournament's completion and official results announcement.

  • Payment is made to the details specified by participants, by the same method the Org Fee was paid, or by another method agreed with the Organizers.

  • To receive prizes, the participant must provide the Organizers with necessary identification and payment details.

6.4. Tax Obligations

Applicable Legislation: Prize money payment is carried out in accordance with the tax legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, including the Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Taxes and Other Obligatory Payments to the Budget" (Tax Code) dated December 25, 2017 No. 120-VI ZRK.

Individual Income Tax (IIT): Prizes received by participants at the Tournament's conclusion are individual income and subject to individual income tax in accordance with Article 320 of the Tax Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Status of the Organizers and Tax Payment Procedure:

The Organizers are private individuals and are not registered as sole traders or as a legal entity. Under the Tax Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a tax agent is a legal entity or a registered sole trader that pays income to an individual. The Organizers are not such persons, and accordingly:

  • the Organizers do not withhold individual income tax from prize money and do not remit it to the budget;

  • prize money is paid to the participant in full, with no deductions of any kind;

  • the Organizers issue no statements of tax withheld, because no withholding takes place.

The participant's own obligation:

Prize money received falls within income that an individual must declare and pay tax on themselves. The participant must report it in their annual income and assets declaration (form 270.00) for the relevant tax period and pay individual income tax at 10% within the deadlines set by the Tax Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Participant's Responsibility: The participant independently bears responsibility for correct declaration of received prize money in accordance with the tax legislation of their country of residence (if the country of residence differs from the Republic of Kazakhstan). The Organizers are not responsible for the participant's failure to fulfill tax obligations in jurisdictions other than the Republic of Kazakhstan.

6.5. Refusal of Prizes

The participant has the right to refuse receipt of prize money by notifying the Organizers in writing within 14 calendar days from the Tournament's completion. In case of refusal by one or more members of the prize-winning team, their share is distributed equally among remaining team members who did not refuse prizes.

Section 7. Full Refund Policy (14 Days, CC RK)

7.1. Legal Basis of Refund Policy

This Refund Policy is based on:

  • the Civil Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Articles 359, 393, 406, 413, etc.);

  • the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Protection of Consumer Rights" dated May 4, 2010 No. 274-IV.

7.2. Full Organizational Fee Refund Guarantee

The participant has the right to a 100% refund of the paid organizational fee in the following cases:

a) Tournament Cancellation or Postponement by Organizers: If the Tournament is cancelled or postponed to another date at the Organizers' initiative, and the participant does not agree to participate in the Tournament on the new date, the participant has the right to demand a full refund of the Org Fee.

b) Participant's Non-Admission to Tournament for Technical Reasons Not Related to Rule Violations: If the participant was not admitted to Tournament participation for reasons not related to violations of these Terms of Participation (technical platform errors, balancing system errors, other technical failures), the participant has the right to demand a full refund of the Org Fee.

c) Participant's Voluntary Withdrawal Before Established Deadline: If the participant submitted a written statement to the Organizers about withdrawal from Tournament participation no later than 48 hours before the Tournament start and before team (roster) formation, the participant has the right to demand a full refund of the Org Fee.

7.3. Refund Request Review Period

The Organizers undertake to review the participant's refund request within 14 calendar days from receipt of the request.

7.4. Refund Procedure

Refund is carried out by the same payment method the participant used to pay the organizational fee, unless otherwise agreed by the parties in writing.

The refund period to the participant's bank card or electronic wallet is up to 14 calendar days from the Organizers' refund decision. The Organizers are not responsible for refund delays arising due to fault of issuing banks, payment systems, or other third parties.

7.5. Cases Where Org Fee Refund Is Not Made

The Organizers do not refund the organizational fee in the following cases:

a) Participant Disqualification for Rule Violations: If the participant was disqualified for violating these Terms of Participation, Fair Play rules, use of smurf accounts, cheating, toxic behavior, or other violations, the Org Fee refund is not made.

b) Participant's Voluntary Withdrawal After Deadline: If the participant withdrew from Tournament participation later than 48 hours before its start or after team (roster) formation, the Org Fee refund is not made, as the participant's withdrawal at this stage disrupts team balance and causes damage to other participants and Organizers.

c) Participant's No-Show for Matches Without Valid Reason: If the participant without valid reason did not appear for scheduled Tournament matches (missed check-ins, refusal to participate in game), the Org Fee refund is not made.

d) Technical Problems on Participant's Side: The Organizers are not responsible for the participant's technical problems (insufficient internet connection speed, high ping, equipment malfunction, power outage, etc.). Org Fee refund due to participant's technical problems is not made.

7.6. Refund Request Submission Procedure

To receive a refund, the participant must submit a written request to the Organizers' official email address — valqayum6@gmail.com or through official communication channels (Discord, Telegram), indicating:

  • participant's full name (or nickname);

  • Discord ID / Telegram ID;

  • Riot ID specified during registration;

  • date and amount of Org Fee payment;

  • reason for refund;

  • refund details (card number, wallet number, etc.);

  • copy of payment receipt (invoice).

Section 8. Format, Official Communication Channels (Discord/Telegram), Check-ins and Technical Defeats

8.1. Tournament Format

The specific Tournament format (number of teams, system: Single Elimination, Double Elimination, group stage, playoffs, etc.) is determined by the Organizers for each individual Tournament and published in official communication channels before registration begins.

Typical format:

  • Number of participants: determined based on number of submitted applications (multiple of 5);

  • System: automatically formed teams play matches in round-robin or elimination format;

  • Match format: BO1 (Best of 1), BO3 (Best of 3), or BO5 (Best of 5) depending on Tournament stage;

  • Map selection: determined by random selection system (Random) or pick/ban procedure depending on match format.

8.2. Official Communication Channels

All official Tournament information, including match schedules, results, technical instructions, rules and announcements, is published exclusively in the following official channels:

  • ValQayum project Discord server (link published on official website);

  • ValQayum project Telegram channel (link published on official website);

  • Official website of ValQayum project.

Participants are required to regularly check official communication channels and bear responsibility for receiving current information. The Organizers are not responsible for the participant's failure to receive information published in official communication channels.

Participants are required to follow rules of conduct in official communication channels, refrain from toxic behavior, spam, insults, political and religious discussions not related to the Tournament.

8.3. Check-ins

Before the start of each game day (or before specific matches, depending on format), the Organizers conduct a check-in procedure — mandatory confirmation of participants' readiness to play.

Check-in Procedure:

  • The Organizers publish a check-in start announcement in official communication channels no later than 30 minutes before game day start;

  • participants must confirm their readiness to play by performing the action specified in the announcement (button press, message sending, message reaction, etc.);

  • check-in period is 15 minutes from announcement publication (unless otherwise specified by Organizers);

  • participants who did not complete check-in within the established period are considered no-shows and receive a technical defeat in the corresponding match.

8.4. Technical Defeats

Technical defeat is assigned to a team in the following cases:

a) No-show for Match: If one or more team members did not appear for the match at the scheduled time (did not enter the server within 10 minutes after the announced match start time).

b) Missed Check-in: If one or more team members did not complete the mandatory check-in procedure.

c) Team Unreadiness for Play: If the team for any reasons cannot gather 5 players to participate in the match.

d) Refusal to Play: If the team refuses to start or continue the match without valid reason recognized by the Organizers.

e) Gross Rule Violation: If the team committed a gross violation of these Terms of Participation that made it impossible to conduct the match (use of cheats, intentional game sabotage, etc.).

Consequences of Technical Defeat:

  • The team that received technical defeat is considered to have lost the match with a score of 0:13 (for BO1 format) or 0:2 (for BO3 format);

  • with systematic technical defeats (two or more), the team may be disqualified from the Tournament at the Organizers' decision;

  • technical defeat is not grounds for refunding the organizational fee.

8.5. Match Postponement

The Organizers may postpone match time for technical reasons, in case of force majeure circumstances, or by agreement with both participating teams.

Participants do not have the right to independently postpone match time without coordination with the Organizers. Any agreements between teams about match postponement are valid only after receiving written confirmation from the Organizers.

Section 9. Technical Requirements for Participants

9.1. Participant's Responsibility for Technical Support

The participant bears full responsibility for technical support of their Tournament participation, including:

  • stable internet connection with sufficient bandwidth;

  • working computer equipment meeting minimum VALORANT game system requirements;

  • current version of VALORANT game client;

  • proper operation of Riot Vanguard anti-cheat system;

  • functionality of peripheral devices (mouse, keyboard, headphones, microphone);

  • stable power supply.

The Organizers are not responsible for participants' technical problems and do not compensate damage caused to the participant or their team as a result of technical malfunctions on the participant's side.

9.2. Internet Connection and Ping Requirements

To participate in the Tournament, the participant must provide:

  • stable internet connection (recommended speed: at least 5 Mbps download and 1 Mbps upload);

  • acceptable latency (ping) to VALORANT servers in the Tournament region (recommended no more than 80 ms);

  • absence of significant packet loss and connection instability.

A participant having high ping, significant packet loss, or other technical problems preventing normal play is not released from the obligation to participate in the match. The Organizers do not postpone matches and do not cancel game results due to high ping or other participant's technical problems.

9.3. Technical Pauses

In case of critical technical problems during a match, the participant has the right to request a technical pause lasting no more than 5 minutes.

A technical pause may be requested only in the following cases:

  • complete loss of connection to game server;

  • critical equipment malfunction (mouse failure, keyboard failure, etc.);

  • VALORANT game client or Vanguard anti-cheat system crash.

Technical pauses are not provided in case of:

  • minor ping increase;

  • brief "lags" or "freezes" not leading to complete loss of control;

  • peripheral problems that could have been eliminated before match start.

The total number of technical pauses for one team in one match is limited to two. Abuse of the right to technical pause (using pause to gain tactical advantage, time wasting, etc.) is regarded as violation of Fair Play rules and may result in sanctions up to disqualification.

9.4. Obligation to Check Equipment Before Match

Participants are required to check the functionality of all gaming equipment and internet connection stability before check-in. The Organizers are not responsible for participants' technical problems that could have been identified and eliminated before match start.

Section 10. POV Stream Rules, Mandatory Delay and Stream Sniping Protection

10.1. Right to POV Stream

Participants have the right to broadcast live (stream) their Tournament participation on streaming platforms (Twitch, YouTube, Trovo, etc.) from first-person perspective (POV — Point of View).

The Organizers do not restrict participants' right to streaming but establish mandatory rules aimed at protecting competition integrity and preventing stream sniping.

10.2. Mandatory Stream Delay

All participants broadcasting POV streams of Tournament matches are required to set a stream delay of at least 3 minutes (180 seconds).

Delay is set in streaming software settings (OBS Studio, Streamlabs OBS, etc.) or in streaming platform settings.

Purpose of Setting Delay: Stream delay prevents opposing players from obtaining information about current positions, tactical decisions, and participant's actions in real time, which is a form of unfair play (stream sniping).

10.3. Stream Sniping Ban

Stream sniping — viewing an opposing team participant's stream for the purpose of obtaining information about their in-game actions — is strictly prohibited.

Sanctions for Stream Sniping:

  • warning (on first violation);

  • technical defeat of team in current match (on repeated violation);

  • disqualification of participant or team from Tournament without refunding organizational fee (on gross or systematic violation).

10.4. Mandatory Indication of Delay in Stream Settings

Participants broadcasting POV streams are required to:

  • indicate in stream description information about delay presence (for example, "Stream delay: 3 minutes");

  • provide Organizers with confirmation of delay setting (screenshot of streaming software settings) upon first request.

The Organizers may verify compliance with delay requirement by comparing event timing in game and their appearance timing on participant's stream.

10.5. Stream Content and Reputational Restrictions

Participants broadcasting POV streams are required to:

  • comply with rules of conduct and ethics established by Riot Games Community Code of Conduct;

  • refrain from toxic behavior, insults, profanity, discriminatory statements;

  • not distribute information damaging the reputation of Organizers, Riot Games, or other Tournament participants;

  • not use stream for advertising prohibited content (see Section 11).

Violation of these requirements may result in sanctions up to participant's disqualification from the Tournament.

Section 11. Sponsorship Restrictions

11.1. Ban on Gambling Advertising

Participants are strictly prohibited during the Tournament (including POV streams, social media posts, team name, gaming nickname) from advertising, promoting, or otherwise mentioning:

  • case opening sites;

  • any other forms of gambling.

11.3. Ban on Riot Games Competitors Advertising

Participants are prohibited from advertising:

  • competing games in tactical shooter genre (for example, Counter-Strike 2, Rainbow Six Siege, Overwatch, etc.);

  • competing esports platforms and tournament operators, if this contradicts the interests of Organizers or Riot Games.

11.4. Team Names and Gaming Nicknames Censorship

The Organizers reserve the right to:

  • reject registration of participant or team whose name (nickname) contains:

- profanity, insults, offensive language; - mentions of prohibited advertising (gambling, cryptocurrencies); - political, religious, or other provocative statements; - mentions of banned organizations or extremist movements;

  • require changing team name or participant's gaming nickname;

  • disqualify participant for refusal to change name (nickname) violating these requirements.

11.5. Permitted Advertising

Participants have the right to place advertising of:

  • legal goods and services not contradicting legislation of Republic of Kazakhstan, Russian Federation, or European Union;

  • their own social networks, streams, content;

  • sponsors approved by Organizers (with written consent of Organizers).

Section 12. Fair Play, Anti-cheat, Sanctions Scale, Disqualification and Prize Forfeiture

12.1. Fair Play Principle

All participants are required to observe the principle of Fair Play, which includes:

  • honest competition without using prohibited means and methods;

  • respectful attitude toward opponents, teammates, Organizers, and spectators;

  • compliance with VALORANT game rules and these Terms of Participation;

  • rejection of any forms of fraud, result manipulation, and collusion.

12.2. Prohibited Actions (Cheating and Exploits)

Participants are strictly prohibited from:

a) Using Cheats and Unauthorized Software:

  • aim assist, aimbot, wallhack, ESP, triggerbot, and other programs providing unfair advantage;

  • macros and scripts automating game actions (for example, weapon recoil control);

  • VALORANT game client modifications;

  • bypassing or disabling Riot Vanguard anti-cheat system.

b) Using Game Exploits:

  • using game errors (bugs, glitches) to gain advantage;

  • abusing game mechanics in ways not intended by developers;

  • using prohibited map positions (boost spots, undocumented passages).

c) Match Result Manipulation:

  • match-fixing;

  • intentional losing (throwing);

  • collusion with opposing team participants.

d) Toxic Behavior:

  • insults, threats, harassment toward other participants;

  • discrimination based on race, gender, nationality, religion, sexual orientation, etc.;

  • spam in text or voice chat;

  • intentional creation of negative atmosphere, team game sabotage.

12.3. Sanctions Scale

The Organizers apply the following sanctions scale depending on violation severity:

Warning:

  • applied for minor behavioral rule violations that did not affect game result;

  • recorded in participant's violation tracking system.

Technical Loss in Match:

  • assigned to participant's team for medium severity violations (for example, using minor exploit, medium severity toxic behavior);

  • team loses current match with score 0:13 or 0:2.

Player Disqualification:

  • participant is excluded from Tournament without right to participate in remaining matches;

  • applied for gross violations (use of cheats, smurfing, match-fixing);

  • disqualified participant forfeits right to receive prize money;

  • disqualified participant's organizational fee is not refunded.

Team Disqualification:

  • entire team is excluded from Tournament;

  • applied when several team members participate in violation or team collusion;

  • all team members forfeit right to receive prize money;

  • team members' organizational fees are not refunded.

Permanent Ban:

  • participant forfeits right to participate in any future ValQayum project tournaments for indefinite period;

  • applied for especially grave violations (use of cheats, match-fixing, serious legislation violations);
